About Utterances of a Rookie

I wanted a space to jot down what God is teaching me in life. When it comes to life, I feel like such a rookie. And, the more that I learn about life, the more like a rookie I feel. So Utterings of a Rookie is really a place where I share my words, or utterances, and thoughts about lessons being learned. One of my favorite teachers, Alistair Begg, once said this: "It is an absurd folly that we as mere men should choose to act as if we were in charge of things and it just isn't true." I love that quote. I learning to love the the story God is writing in my life. It's not always what I would choose, but it is better. So I hope as I write down these little lessons, that you'll enjoy them and maybe even learn from them, too!
